Is Entrepreneurship the new way to wealth?

It just doesnt seem as if working for someone else is the way to be wealthy. I mean, you can make money but everyone that I know who works for someone else compared to the people I know who work for themselve just seem immensely more satisfied with life overall and have a lot more money.What do you think?
