I have done it once with dept consolidation program, but it appeared on my credit and totaly ruined it. Now i got a letter from other “not “consolitaional program, but debt mediation… I dont trust any of them, but I really need help in reducing my debts.
Has anyone had any good experience with debt reduction programs?

I am currently a full time College student with bad credit and I am unemployed. I have tried applying for student loans but ended up with no luck. I can’t get the Pell grants or any type of grants because my husband currently earns more than the median income requirements for grants and he doesn’t want to co sign on my loan because he feels it’s a waist of time for me to go to school at the age of 27. I am currently in my Junior year at a University in Boston, MA and I am currently stuck.
I usually don’t ask for any assistance from anyone but you can see that I am desperate at this moment.
I have tried everything and I have ended up with a no or a scam….. I am tired, I am stressed and I am fearful that I would have to quit school after 3 years of hard work. Is there any good samaritan out there that can assist me, someone that has extra money laying around and doesn’t mind lending it?
I know this might sound odd or stupid to some people but I ran out of ideas.
Thank you for reading my situation and God Bless you.
